360° tour with level navigation
The virtual 360° tour that FIEBAK MEDIEN created for the SAE Institute provides detailed insights into the premises of the training institute. Anyone interested in studying there, or anyone who is simply curious, can gain a realistic impression of what it looks like and what awaits them through the virtual 360° tour. On three floors, the viewer is presented with modern studios and workstations, spacious work and project rooms professionally equipped. In the tour, each floor can also be selected and entered directly via the level navigation.
The fact that a former air-raid shelter once becomes a place of work is rather rare in the everyday working life of a photographer. All the more exciting for us was the implementation of this project: the creation of a virtual 360° tour at the SAE Institute in Bochum.
About SAE Institute
Founded in Sydney, Australia in 1976 and now based in 54 locations spread across 28 countries, SAE Institute is a private audiovisual training institute. At the Bochum site, at most the foundation walls of the building are a reminder of the former bunker. Specializing in audio, music business, cross media, web, film & TV, animation and games, the SAE Institute, centrally located in Bochum, offers its students everything they need for a specialized and highly qualified education in the global media industry on more than 1,200 m2.
360° tour on Google maps + Social media content for more reach
Each of the seventy 360° panoramic images has a 14K resolution and was captured as HDR. Together, the 360° photos create a virtual tour in razor-sharp image quality according to Google specifications. In addition, we created various animations from selected panoramas to promote the tour on Instagram and Facebook in posts and stories – with success: about 1,000 new views on Google every week.
